One shot was fired and the Wisconsin Air National Guard unit based at Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport went on lockdown for several hours Sunday afternoon. A vehicle carrying three people slammed into a security gate at about 3:17 P-M. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department is holding three suspects who were arrested at the scene. The 128th Air Refueling Wing returned to normal operations several hours later. No one was wounded and the suspect names haven’t been released.
