A three-count federal indictment has been unsealed against a 32-year old Manitowoc man on Firearm And Methamphetamine charges. U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger of the Eastern District of Wisconsin says the indictment alleges that Anthony C. Moore possessed ‘meth’ with the intent to distribute the controlled-substance and did so while in possession of a firearm. It said that Moore’s status as a convicted felon prohibited him from ‘ever’ having a firearm in his possession. The local man faces a mandatory 5-year year prison sentence and up-to a ‘life’ sentence, if convicted of the alleged charges. Krueger said the case was investigated by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and Metro Drug Unit and is to be prosecuted by Assistant U.S Attorney Daniel Humble.
