An extra day of rest will come in handy for the Green Bay Packers and their starting quarterback this week. Aaron Rodgers tweaked his tender knee when he was tackled on the sixth play of Sunday’s loss in Detroit. Rodgers performed well and appeared mobile, but he said the knee hurt more after the game than it had the last couple of weeks. It isn’t clear how this development will affect his practice availability yet. The Packers next game isn’t until Monday against the San Francisco 49ers.
