The Milwaukee Bucks new coach will have his team firing bombs from long distance. Head coach Mike Budenholzer uses a system emphasizing three-point shooting, especially from the corner where the shots are shorter.
This is a culture change for a Bucks team which has ranked at or near the bottom of the N-B-A in taking three-point shots for each of the last five years. Budenholzer says he wants his entire team shooting from beyond the arc, not just the guys who don’t shoot from that range.
Not only do you get an extra point when you hit one, it also spaces the floor for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game. He also mentioned that his is excited to have Khris Middleton in the offence.
The Bucks first preseason matchup will by against the Chicago Bulls at the new Fiserv Forum on Wednesday, October 3rd.
