The Green Bay Packers are trying to build some depth at linebacker after trading with Indianapolis for Antonio Morrison. He started 15 games for the Colts last season. Green Bay sent cornerback Lenzy Pipkens to Indianapolis. Morris is undersized for an inside linebacker at six-one and 241 pounds, but he is a run-stopper who is limited in pass coverage. Pipkin wasn’t expected to make the final 53-man roster. Morris was a fourth-round draft pick in 2016 and he has two years left on his rookie contract. The Packers made the deal for him just two days after rookie linebacker Oren Burks suffered a shoulder injury.
