A Brown County man who had twice previously violated the sex offender registry is again in police custody. Deputies were called to a truck stop in Bellevue last Friday on a report of a sexual assault. The report came in after a young boy entered the diner with tears in his eyes. He told a worker there that a truck driver (later identified as 58 year old Brian Wickersham) had asked him to do inappropriate things. The boy was reportedly traveling with Wickersham to Virginia, and had received text messages asking him to perform sexual acts. Wickersham is now facing a charge of using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, and is being held on $50,000 cash bond in the Brown County Jail.
