The 2018 Manitowoc County Fair kicks off today at the County Expo Grounds. Jenelle Shelton is the Expo Facility Manager and County Fair Coordinator.
Shelton refers to the dairy barn located where the multi-purpose building once stood.
The Manitowoc County Fair is unique in that for “one daily admission fee” you get to experience most of what the fair has to offer.
Which also includes parking. The fairgrounds open at 4 this afternoon with the “Running A Fair” 5k/Run/Walk starting at 6. Fireworks will be tomorrow night at 9:30—the CP Feeds Dairy Cattle Barn Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is Thursday at 5:30 plus music and judging of Animals and exhibits will be held throughout the week. A reminder that Lee Douglas will host “Be My Guest” on WOMT 1240 AM from the fair today thru Friday from 9:30 to 10.
