There was a plane crash in Brown County yesterday. According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the small plane went down at around 6:00 PM at the Birch Creek Airport in De Pere. The piolt, a 69 year old man, was the only occupant of the aircraft, and was taken to a local hospital by a nearby family member, and was treated for minor injuries. The single engine plane is believed to have been completely destroyed in the crash. As of now, authorities do not believe any foul play is to blame, but have turned the investigation over to the Federal Aviation Administration.
