A transport shuttle and semi collided in the Town of Lima late last night, injuring eight individuals. The Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received notification of the incident at around 11:35 PM. According to SGT Jesse James Smith, the shuttle, which was carrying nine individuals was traveling north on County Highway I and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with County Road V. The eastbound semi was unable to stop in time, and smashed into the shuttle. Eight of the passengers in the shuttle were transported to a local hospital, with varied injuries, none of which were listed as greater than severe. The driver of the shuttle, whose name has not yet been released, was cited for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign.
