A Manitowoc woman was bitten by a dog last evening. According to Lieutenant Jeremy Kronforst of the Manitowoc Police Department, the incident occurred at around 6:00 PM in the 2000 block of Washington Street. The canine, which is described as medium sized, and possibly black with some white, was not able to be located. The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her wounds, as well as potential rabies exposure.
