The Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired (WCBVI) will be hosting a Low Vision Fair tomorrow at UW-Manitowoc. A National Institutes of Health study found that 14 million Americans are visually impaired – a number expected to grow as baby boomers age. Those who attend the Low Vision Fair can learn about adaptive products, hear speakers talk about low vision, falls prevention, smart homes and labeling, and meet others who are living with changing vision. People experiencing vision loss, family, friends and others who work with people who are visually impaired are encouraged to attend. This event will run from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, and is free.
