The U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a crane manufacturer for an incident that killed three employees including a 38-year-old Manitowoc man earlier this year in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. Issac Notz and two others died when a 300-ton crane collapsed at the Manitowoc Cranes facility in Shady Grove. Grove U.S. LLC has been cited for exposing workers to safety hazards determining the company placed work facilities too close to the crane testing area. Grove U.S. has 15 business days to either contest or comply with the citations including nearly $15 thousand in proposed penalties.
