Former Green Bay Packer Darren Sharper has returned to federal court in Louisiana, trying to get his 18-year prison sentenced reduced. Sharper was convicted of drugging and raping women. He lost an earlier appeal. Now, he says he wasn’t adequately advised by his trial lawyers on the consequences of the guilty plea he entered two years ago. Sharper was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting as many as 16 women.
