The Plymouth Police received help yesterday morning in their search for an armed man who was involved in a domestic situation. Authorities were alerted to the domestic disturbance at an apartment complex near Fairview School shortly after 10:00 AM. The suspect had fled the scene by the time they arrived, but it was reported to the police that he was armed with a knife. The Sheriff’s Department, along with the Ozaukee County Canine unit were called in to assist in the search. Fairview School was placed on lockdown, along with the rest of the district, while the search continued. The lockdown didn’t last long however, as the suspect was in police custody within 10 minutes of the canine team’s arrival. While he did not have a knife on him, the man will be facing additional charges due to outstanding warrants.
