Fogltanz was ‘not’ able to advance to the next round. The son of Don & Mary Fogltanz ‘did’ finish a decorated campaign overall for the Cyclones winding up with a pair of 2nd team ‘All-American” honors in the 400-hurdles & 4-by-400 meter relay a silver medal at the Big-12 Outdoor championships in the Hurdles in 50.18 seconds, ranking him 3rd in the event in ISU history. Eric said, “it’s time to get some rest and allow his body to heal-up.” Next year, Fogltanz says his goals are to get ‘1st’ team All-American at the NCAA Championships and win a Big-12 title.
