The City of Green Bay has been dealing with an increase in the rat population, and now they will be getting some help from the Brown County Board of Supervisors. One of the Brown County Supervisors, Bernie Erickson, says that he receives around 10 emails a day regarding the issue, and he believes its bigger than just a Green Bay issue. $5,000 was approved to go towards the problem, and will do so at the beginning of 2018. The city is not just standing by either, as the Green Bay City Council Vice President stated that they are going to attempt to “get some monies to get some folks to take care of rats in our neighborhoods.” Green Bay Alderman Randy Scannell said they are even looking at improving city inspections.
