The Ray Nitschke Bridge in Green Bay was shut down yesterday due to a power outage. The bridge which is a part of Main Street, was preparing to lift to allow a cargo ship to pass, when the outage occurred. According to Wisconsin Public Service, the outage was caused because underground equipment experienced an undisclosed issue, but has since been repaired. Estimates say around 200 customers were affected, as well as countless motorists.
